Description
Treat yourself to a little time out and enjoy a culinary starry stroll in St.Gallen. During the winter months, three selected restaurants welcome you and spoil you with a delicious Sternenstadt menu. The evening starts with an appetiser in the restaurant Scheitlinsbüchel, accompanied by mulled wine or punch and a fantastic view of the city lights of St.Gallen. Afterwards, you set off along the Drei Weieren for the second course - with the old town firmly in view. You can choose to go down through the Mülenen Gorge or take the Mühlegg railway. Here, Restaurant Barz will enchant you with a star-studded main course - just sit back and enjoy! To round things off, the nearby restaurant Brauwerk serves a heavenly dessert. En Guätä!
The Culinary Star Stroll is particularly magical between 29th of November 2024 and 28th of December 2024, when 700 twinkling stars envelop the Old Town and the UNESCO World Heritage Site in a magical light. Experience the unique atmosphere of the starry city of St.Gallen.

5.30 pm: Starter at the Restaurant Scheitlinsbüchel, Scheitlinsbüchelweg 10, 9011 St.Gallen:
- Mulled wine / punch aperitif
- Nut salad
- Pumpkin soup
- Hand-cut beef tartare
7.00 pm: Main course at the Restaurant Barz, Bankgasse 4, 9000 St.Gallen:
- Winter puff pastry roll with mushroom and meat filling, served with mashed potatoes and gravy
- Pork chop au gratin with ham and raclette cheese served with chips and vegetables
- Vegan vegetable rösti with vegan cheese au gratin and tomato coulis
8.15 pm: Dessert at the Restaurant Brauwerk, Bahnhofstrasse 19, 9000 St.Gallen:
- Thurgau apple pockets with star anise ice cream
- Chocolate Daim Brownie with salted caramel and star anise ice cream
