The paradise for well-being Surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama, the Sonnenberg Health Hotel is located in the elevated Schwellbrunn at 972m.a.s.l., which in 2017, not without reason, was voted the most beautiful village in Switzerland. Situated on the former textile road from St. Gallen to Paris, Schwellbrunn developed into a climatic health resort from 1880. Thanks to its quiet location, it was increasingly appreciated as a place to live in the last quarter of the 20th century. With its bright yellow façade, romantic balconies and the scent of herbs from the café, there is certainly a holiday feeling at the Sonnenberg Health Hotel. The only thing you won't find here is a sumptuous pizza. For a good reason. The Sonnenberg Health Hotel is not a hotel that is all about feasting. On the contrary, here body and soul get an energy booster and a healthy new start. The special thing about this institution is that it offers a hotel, restaurant and treatments all in one. There is no healthier place to live. Detoxification, nutrition, digestion and sustained strengthening of the immune system - here you get the full programme. There are a total of 3 medical practices, a hotel with 16 rooms and a vegetarian vegan restaurant run by tibits. Together we share the same philosophy of supporting the guest in health and quality of life. Tibits has made vegetarian and vegan nutrition socially acceptable in Switzerland and has been instrumental in ensuring that enjoyment and a plant-based diet do not mean a contradiction. This philosophy is now being further developed at the beautiful Sonnenberg in Schwellbrunn by combining health and pleasure. All the delicacies are purely plant-based and organic wherever possible, freshly cooked on site with the best ingredients.
