The Hotel Walhalla has been part of the St.Gallen cityscape since the 19th century. The building first accommodated hotel guests in 1887. In May 2018, the Hotel Walhalla was closed for extensive renovation in order to continue offering its guests a contemporary atmosphere. Since its opening in September 2019, the traditional hotel has now had over 100 rooms with comfortable facilities, the Brasserie Walhalla with Swiss specialities and the Walhalla Bar with a large selection of local and international drinks and snacks. With its central location at St.Gallen railway station and the extended seminar area with six rooms and state-of-the-art seminar technology, the hotel offers ideal conditions for events.
