Description
The varied culinary hike takes you from the city of Gallus to the Rhine in the four-country corner. Breathtaking views of Lake Constance and three culinary stops in first-class excursion restaurants await you. After the first stage across flowering meadows and through shady forests, the Bären restaurant serves you a rich starter of Gruber specialities. With newfound energy, make your way up to the Rossbüchel inn and the Fünfländerblick vantage point. Enjoy the delicacies from the regional cuisine and the spectacular view over Lake Constance and five countries: Switzerland, Austria, and the former independent states of Baden, Württemberg and Bavaria. Now the descent to the Steiniger Tisch excursion destination follows, where a well-deserved dessert is already waiting for you with the best view over the Thaler vineyards. The last stage ends at Rheineck railway station, where the S-Bahn will take you comfortably back to St.Gallen. En Guätä!

"Appenzeller Salatteller" leaf salads with Mostbröckle, cheese, potato and egg (vegetarian option also possible)
Leek and bacon pancakes with salad garnish
13.00 a.m.: Main course in the Rossbüchel restaurant
Choice of main course:
"Fish Knusperli" baked in beer batter with tartar sauce and mixed salad
"Gruber Vegi Spätzli" egg spaetzli with house cheese mixture and fried onions
15.30 a.m.: Dessert at the Steiniger Tisch excursion destination
Choice of dessert:
Seasonal cake of the day with cream
Fresh apple strudel with cream
