When it comes to dairy products, meat, eggs, coffee and tea, we rely on producers and suppliers who share our quality standards. We know where our products come from. This means that the start of the day at Sorell Hotels is always a culinary experience, with surprises included: whether it's a breakfast egg that smiles at you, individually prepared hot dishes, vegan Bircher muesli or plant-based alternatives to milk and yoghurt

COFFEE

The Sorell Hotels rely on Fairtrade coffee. Fair trade strengthens small farmers and workers and enables them to improve their living conditions through their own efforts. Democratic structures, more direct trade relations, responsible cultivation and social working conditions are important factors here. Producers receive a stable minimum price for their raw materials as well as a Fairtrade premium for the realization of their own projects. For example, investments are made in infrastructure, education, medical care, quality and productivity.

BAKED GOODS

Our breakfast buffet has it all and has something for everyone. A large selection of different pastries and breads awaits you at the breakfast buffet. Sweet pastries, fresh bread and mini pastries are waiting to be tasted. Spoil yourself in the morning with fresh, regional delicacies, all of which are also available plant-based and gluten-free.

Don't miss the UR-DINKEL MAGGIA BREAD from our Kleiner bakery. For this bread, the bakers use the traditional baking method known as "long dough proofing". This means that the dough has several hours to develop. According to a traditional recipe with CH IP flour. The result is amazing: a crispy crust, a better consistency - and above all, definitely tastier.

You can also get our GOOD MORNING MUFFIN at the breakfast buffet, prepared with fine Swiss flour, which will get even the most morning grouches off to a good start.

BIRCHER MUESLI AND CEREALS 

Our homemade vegan Bircher muesli is a must for a hearty breakfast. At our breakfast buffet you will find a large selection of muesli and various cereals - also gluten-free on request. You can also put together your own toppings to suit your mood. Whether nuts, seeds or fruit - everything is ready for you to put together your own breakfast bowl.

FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

There is only one formula for really ripe fruit and crisp, fresh vegetables: We don't serve air-dried produce.

Our jams are based on a recipe by Vreni Giger (Sorell Hotel Rigiblick, Zurich). Look forward to flavors such as apricot, strawberry and cherry etc.

SWISS HONEY BY MARKUS TOBLER

Bees are nature's true superheroes. They work tirelessly to pollinate flowers, suck up the nectar and fill empty honeycomb cells with it. Whether in tea, yoghurt or on a delicious piece of plaited bread - our Swiss local honey made by Markus Tobler provides a sweet start to the day.

CRÈME NOISETTE 

Chocolate in the morning banishes sorrow and worries! The Crème Noisette chocolate spread from Lindt puts a smile on the face of even the biggest morning grouch. What better way to start the day than with a delicious spread?

SWISS BUTTER

Butter - pure indulgence. And with Swiss butter, you know what's inside. It is made exclusively from Swiss cow's milk and contains no additives. Our Swiss butter is perfect for croissants in the morning - in combination with fine jam or our delicious honey.

REGIONAL CHEESE

A true Swiss classic awaits our guests at the breakfast buffet. Cheese is of course a must. Our cheese specialties, which are put together individually depending on the hotel, come from the surrounding regions of the hotels.

EGGS
