Gourmets on tour in St. Gallen

The Vinum Berneck association and St. Gallen-Lake Constance Tourism are bringing the successful Berneck Gourmet Tour to St. Gallen.

A restaurant from St. Gallen and a winemaker from Berneck have teamed up to present a coordinated dish.

Included in the price

• 1 glass of sparkling wine at the Textile Museum (aperitif)

• 4 courses with accompanying wines at four selected restaurants (meat or vegetarian menu selectable when booking)

• 1 glass of dessert wine at the Restaurant zur Werkstatt

Schedule

The aperitif starts at 11 a.m. at the Textile Museum. All participants gather and are then divided into groups (4 groups of 25 people each). All groups follow a predetermined route from restaurant to restaurant and enjoy four different, fascinating dishes accompanied by a Bernecker wine. From 6 p.m., everyone meets at the Restaurant Zur Werkstatt for a joint finale with a dessert buffet.

All stops are within walking distance (max. 25 minutes). No shuttle service is provided. Part of the route can be covered by the Mühleggbahn (not included in the price). The Appenzeller Bahn also covers part of the route (to/from Restaurant Scheitlinsbüchel). The group leaders are familiar with the route and will accompany you from station to station.

Getting there

We recommend travelling individually by public transport (10 minutes from St. Gallen railway station to the Textile Museum). For those arriving by car, we recommend parking in the extended blue zone or in a multi-storey car park.
