The «Bierdegu a dä Zahnradbahn» starts for you at the Altstätten Stadt train station. Equipped with a beer tasting glass and a goodie bag, there are a total of 14 types of beer to taste at four different locations. Directly in Altstätten you will be served with a regional delicacy. You are free to choose the order of the locations. The ticket includes a day pass for the Altstätten-Gais rack railroad. In addition, there are more trains in operation on this day than usual. But if you want to stretch your legs in addition to riding the train, follow the signposted walking trail.
