Bratwurst tasting

Description

It is considered the most famous sausage in Eastern Switzerland: the St.Gallen Bratwurst! The recipe for the sausage was first mentioned as early as 1438. But what do we actually know about this culinary cultural asset? What ingredients are in the sausage and why do we enjoy it without mustard? And the question of all questions is: Who produces the best St.Gallen bratwurst?

So the tasting seminar is literally about the sausage. We will playfully introduce you to the emotional topic and reveal its secret. You will have the unique opportunity to taste different bratwursts side by side and decide which one is your favourite.

Our tasting guides Josef Niedermann and Andreas Koller from the Sortenorganisation St. Galler Bratwurst  will explain the subtle differences. To go with it, enjoy a beer from the Schützengarten brewery, which harmonises perfectly with the bratwurst, and a crispy Bürli that will make your palate dance.

Note: The three public tastings are only available in german. The tasting for groups is available in German, see our website
