• The Voralpen-Express Autumn Hit for CHF 20 (2nd class, Half-Fare travelcard) can be booked until 30 November 2023 (travel date freely selectable until 31 December 2023).

• The price of CHF 20 includes one return journey on the Voralpen-Express route and discounts on leisure activities.

• The ticket is valid exclusively for travel on the Voralpen-Express and for travel on the Südostbahn S-Bahn trains on the Voralpen-Express route (S4, S6, S13, S31, S40) as well as on the Biberbrugg-Einsiedeln route (S13, S40) and on the Thurbo trains between Wattwil and St. Gallen (S2). The ticket is not valid on any other trains.

• The "Autumn Hit" can only be booked via the booking mask listed on this page and paid for exclusively by credit card or TWINT.

• The return journey can be made on any day until 31 December 2023. The outward and return journey does not have to be made on the same day. The travel date for the outward and return journey is set when the Autumn Hit is purchased.

• The public transport ticket can also be redeemed for only part of the journey (e.g. Lucerne-Rapperswil). The prices are always the same regardless of where you get on or off the train.

• The Junior Card is valid in combination with the "Autumn Hit".

• No exchange, no refund

After purchasing the Voralpen-Express Autumn Hit, you will receive access to the discounted offers by e-mail after a short time.

1. Select your desired outward journey date in the «Select a date» field.

2. In the «Amount» field, you can add further ticket holders (travellers) using the plus sign.

3. In the «Select traveller xy» field, select an already saved traveller or enter the person travelling by entering the first surname/date of birth of the traveller and confirm by clicking on the green bar «Create Ticket Holder».

4. After step 1-3, the two fields below will be activated (public transport ticket outward journey, public transport ticket return journey). You must edit these fields individually as follows: Click on the blue bar «Configure» on the right. The calendar will open, where you can change your desired travel date (if necessary) by clicking on the date. If the travel date remains the same as already selected in point 1, it is sufficient to click on «Confirm».

5. As soon as you have filled in both fields and they are black, you have done everything correctly and you can now complete your ticket in the further purchase process by clicking on the green bar «Complete checkout».

6. Then «Proceed to checkout as xy».

7. After completing your purchase, you will receive your booking confirmation and voucher at the e-mail address you provided. In addition, you will also find all important travel documents in your customer account «My orders». Once the purchase process has been completed, it is no longer possible to change the travel dates you have selected!

In the bistro of the Voralpen-Express, drinks and small snacks can be purchased in cash, with Maestro card, TWINT or with credit card.

Please also consult the online-timetable before your journey to be informed about possible interruptions and road works. In the event of train cancellation, route interruption, etc., the Voralpen-Express is valid for the next possible connection regardless of the train category and any changes.
